History
Prodrive was founded in 1993 by technical professionals from the Eindhoven University of Technology. Since then every year has shown a steep growth rate due to a very successful business concept. Currently the total Prodrive organization consists of 320 employees (255 FTE), highly skilled, highly motivated and focused on results.
Organization
The Prodrive organization consists of three main customer-oriented departments. The Mixed Signal Group and the Digital Design Group are technological expertise centers active in the field of research and development. Complex design trajectories are executed in cross-functional development teams.
The Electronic Solutions Group covers the life cycle management of an electronic design.
The different operations teams within Electronic Solutions Group are managing the production, assembly and test of electronic products and systems in the range from 1 up to 50.000 units per year.
Quality
Quality is a basic element in the Prodrive organization. We have structured our processes and working methods in order to guarantee a fixed quality level of products and services. Standardized documentation, reviews and feedback procedures are important elements of the quality system. This system has been fine-tuned to the internal processes and matched with customer requirements.
Recent development
Prodrive has a solid financial basis, which is the result of good profitability and efficiency in the past 17 years. Despite continuous growth and high investment levels, Prodrive is able to guarantee continuity and commitment to our customers as well as to our employees. Prodrive’s headquarters is located in a new premises in Son (near Eindhoven). Besides our headquarters in Son Prodrive has opened a GmbH in Köln (Germany) and a representative office in Shanghai (China) in order to expand business opportunities.
